What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of resistance control exercise that works with the body's organic form
of biomechanics and support. Pilates trains the musculature of the entire body; your
entire musculature is evenly conditioned, from top to bottom, inside and out, so as to
avoid injuries as well as meet conditioning and lifestyle goals. The end result is a long
lean, deeply strong graceful and aware body.
About Purely Pilates
Donna Gentile is the founder of Purely Pilates and has had the pleasure to share her
passion for instructing others about the physical body for over 25 years. Donna is
committed to delivering excellent, well-rounded workouts to meet each client's unique
needs, while maintaining a warm and compassionate environment to ensure that each
client achieves their personal goals. After enduring two major shoulder surgeries she
is sympathetic to the recovery process and the respect of a balanced exercise regime.
